TRIVIA: RETURN TO GENESIS began life in 1987 as an Atari ST demo designed by coder Steve Bak to prove that the machine could cope with high-speed, horizontal parallax scrolling (using all 16 colours available), despite a firm belief otherwise at the time stemming from the Atari ST's notorious lack of hardware scrolling [Source: The Games Machine review (Issue 6, May 88, p63), courtesy of the Amiga Magazine Rack]. |
