Notes

[1] Game conceived/produced by Kou Shibusawa.

[2] ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS is based on Luo Guanzhong's famous Chinese classical novel 'Sanguozhi Tongsu Yanyi' (translated into English as 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms'), which details the turbulent events of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms eras of 2nd and 3rd century Chinese history. During these eras, China was transformed against all odds from a land of chaos to three kingdoms to finally be reunified as one nation.

[3] Game must be launched from WB.

[4] Game features full multitasking and savegame support.

[5] Original game contents included an A3 size game poster with a list of the 65 famous generals from the game on the reverse side, along with flyer adverts for Koei's other PC/NES releases.

Last known release: V2.4 (29-Nov-89)
