Notes

[1] Min. Requirements: AGA, 68020 CPU, KS/WB 3.x, 4Mb fastram, 3.2Mb HD space, CDROM drive.

[2] Game contains two CPU optimised versions for 020 and 030/040/060. Additionally. the game can be played in high resolution for fast processors like 040/060 and low resolution for 020/030, contains instructions on CD, and has a quit back to WB option on the startup menu.

[3] According to developer Sébastien D'Heeger, the Lancia Stratos and other cars in the game were rendered using Imagine V3.0. All scenery of the race is rendered in real time with a rate of 16 frames per second on an Amiga 1200+ 68020/28 Mhz. The game was inspired by arcade coin-op, Daytona USA when the developer first saw it in 1994.

[4] Originally released in 1997 as shareware title, RACER. A demo version is available on Aminet:

- RACER V1.00 (dir: game/misc/racer.lha).

- RACER V1.10 update patch (dir: game/misc/racer_up.lha).

- RACER V1.50 update patch (dir: game/misc/RacerUpd1.5.lha).

In 1998 the game was released commercially by V.A.K. Entertainment in Germany, and then as TURBO RACER 3D by Alive Mediasoft in the UK a year later.

[5] The Alive Mediasoft CD release contains demos of the following games:

- BLADE

- MOONBASES

- PHOENIX FIGHTERS

- THE PROPHET

- GOAL! 2000
