Notes

[1] Game design by Tony Love, Tony Fagelman and Ian Saunter; additional design by Peter Jefferies, Paul Stapley, Mark Rafter and Tony Hager. Coding by Peter Jefferies and Paul Stapley. Graphics by Tony Hager; additional gfx by Ian Stevens (FAD), Mitch Phillips and John Wood. Music/sound FX by Steve Morgan; sound FX driver by Colin Hughes.

[2] WILD CUP SOCCER (aka BRUTAL SPORTS SOCCER) is the second and final installment in Millennium's Brutal Sports Series of games, preceded only by BRUTAL SPORTS FOOTBALL.

TRIVIA: Originally entitled BRUTAL SPORTS SOCCER, reportedly the game was renamed to WILD CUP SOCCER to accommodate the German market because the word 'brutal' has negative connotations in the German language [Source: The One Amiga preview(Issue 70, July 94, pp48-49), courtesy of the Amiga Magazine Rack (AMR)].

On the main menu with the options Wild Cup, League and Unfriendly, plug a joystick into the mouse port and hold down the joystick button while pushing forward at the same time. Now hold the main joystick forward and keep doing this for about 10 seconds. The words “CHEAT MODE” will appear at the top of the screen, and you still start with $20,000,000 in the bank.

After the first cheat is active, you can activate a second cheat by holding the joystick in the mouse port left while holding the main joystick right for about 10 seconds. The word “SPECIAL” will appear at the top of the screen underneath the words “CHEAT MODE”. All players will now start with the status Brutal as well as the normal cheat mode of $20,000,000 in the bank.
