Notes: | [1] Although not an original Amiga release, ULTIMA VII is playable through the Exult RPG engine interpreter. The Exult interpreter was originally ported in 2001 for use on Amiga RTG configurations, and in 2004 and 2006 for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS systems, respectively.
In 2013, however, news has been received of the imminent release of an AGA port of ULTIMA VII that doesn't use the Exult interpreter (see HERE).
[2] Min. Requirements (Amiga68K): 68020 CPU or better, FPU, WB 3.x, AGA or gfx card, AHI for sound (optional), AMidi.device for music (optional)
[3] An original PC release of ULTIMA VII (CD or floppy) is required for use with the Exult interpreter. The CD version (contained on the ULTIMA COLLECTION compilation) is directly playable, while a PC or Amiga equipped with a high density floppy drive is required to extract and HD install the 6 disk floppy release under MS-DOS.
[4] The FORGE OF VIRTUE data disk is playable from the main game also using the Exult interpreter. |
