| Notes: | [1] Amiga OUT RUN was initially published by Sega in 1988 in the U.S. The European release, published by U.S. Gold, followed in early 1989.
[2] Except for the sampled intro, the Amiga conversion was a direct port of the Atari ST release, which was also coded by Probe.
[3] The U.S. Gold release includes an audiotape containing the original Sega arcade soundtrack (see Miscshot scans).

TRIVIA: Two slightly different versions of Amiga OUT RUN exist. The most obvious difference between the two versions concerns the copyright dates on the loading screen (i.e. © 1987 vs © 1988 - see screenshots). Other differences include the latter version exhibiting a moving starfield on the loading screen, a demo more like the coin-op, and a slower game timer. |
