[1] Licensed game based on Jules Verne's classic French nautical sci-fi novel "Vingt mille lieues sous les mers: Tour du monde sous-marin", published in 1870. It was concurrently translated into Spanish as "Veinte mil leguas de viaje submarino" and released in English in 1872 as "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea".

[2] Game concept & adaptation by Marianne Rougeulle. Coding by Pascal Arnaud. Graphics by Kaki Chapoullié, Yannick Chosse and Catherine Poiret; special FX by Yannick Chosse. Original music composition by Johann Sebastian Bach; music soundtrack Réné-Guy Tramis.

[3] The Spanish release of 20 000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA, published by System 4, followed all other language versions a year later in 1989.
