[1] According to the technical supplement, sound FX will be missing in the game on Amiga systems with only 1Mb ram.
[2] Sound engineer Allister Brimble explains the musician credits: "I was contracted by Microprose to arrange the PC music & sounds on Colonization to the Amiga. After creating the instrument sample set and creating the first few tunes I realized the work would not be finished in time for the tight deadline so called upon Anthony Putson to create half of the tracks using my instrument set. The credits in the game were never given correctly unfortunately."
Last known release: V1.11 (31-May-95).
Based on 1994 MicroProse PC release. PC versions: VGA, SVGA/XGA
When starting a new colony name it “Charlotte”. This will allow you to see all maps instantly, other European ports, check other county’s statistics, and gives you $50,000. When you access the other countries European ports you can spend all their money. I did this by recruiting loads of people, but you can buy anything.
If you rename your colony to some thing else you can then start another colony called Charlotte and get another $50,000. I started a colony, got $50,000 then abandoned it lot’s of times and started the game with $500,000.
