Notes

[1] AFTER THE WAR consists of two independent parts (loaded separately when selected from the main menu). If played in order, players will receive an access code on completion of part 1 that must then be entered to play part 2 once loaded. In part 1 of the game, the main protagonist is unarmed and can only defend against enemies with his bare fists. In part 2, however, the main protagonist is brandishing a big machine gun that can be angled freely in a semi-circle to blast enemies away à la MIDNIGHT RESISTANCE.

[2] Game supports keyboard/joystick-keyboard control (game part 1) and joystick/keyboard/joystick-keyboard control (game part 2).

[3] Distributed by DRO Soft in Spain, USD in Great Britain, Ubi Soft in France and by Leader in Italy.

Conversion Notes

Based on 1989 Dinamic Spectrum release.
PC versions: CGA

N.B. Reportedly, an Amiga-based coin-op conversion of AFTER THE WAR virtually identical to the Amiga/ST version was released circa 1991 by Inder in Dinamic's home country of Spain. The coin-op release, however, was quite obscure (even in its home country outside Madrid) as it never saw the light of day beyond the Spanish borders.
