[1] Original release game contents include a large map designed to help players become familiar with the Realm and the important locations within. Forests, building and dungeons must be mapped by players themselves, however.
[2] Game supports savegames and a quit back to WB option.
[3] Although THE BARD'S TALE II comes on 1 disk, players are required to create a second disk (character disk) before playing a game for the first time. This is not necessary if players wish to continue with characters from its predecessor, THE BARD'S TALE. Additionally, players may import characters from THE BARD'S TALE I or II to play them in the game sequel, THE BARD'S TALE III.
