Notes

[1] FORTRESS OF FEAR, an isometric RPG similar to DIABLO, was scheduled for release on Amiga/PC in late 1998, but was abandoned by the developers in 1999 due to the excessive complexity/size of the game. Italian developers Insonnia Team, headed by the game's gfx coder Marco Farace, reportedly took over the project from Digital Reality SoftworX, but nothing further was heard about the game and it remains unreleased.

[2] Min. Requirements (planned): 68030/50 CPU, AGA or gfx card (with CyberGraphX/Picasso 96 support), 4Mb fastram, CDROM drive and HD.

[3] Background gfx by:

* Marco Farace (mc68030)
* Marcus Gerards (Logain)
* Arkadius Zielinski

Characters by:

* Jens Henschel
* Udo Buhl
* CC Studio
* Fernando Amaral
* Bruno Miguel Rosa
* Andy "Oasis_Man" Davies (aka Dave)

[4] The developer's website (courtesy of the Internet Archive) contains a wealth of information about the game including:

- Storyboard

- Additional graphics and animations

[5] Internet previews of FORTRESS OF FEAR appeared on: (a) Amiga Nutta (June 97) and (b) Amiga Flame.

[6] FORTRESS OF FEAR V1.03 (demo) is available for downloadHERE.
