 DUNE II, perhaps inaccurately, is widely considered to be the first contemporary real-time strategy (RTS) game ever released, and pioneered many concepts and conventions of the RTS genre.
 Game features multitasking (> 1Mb ram required), VGA screenmodes (configured using Preferences IControls), and savegame support.
