[2] The original release of PINKIE contains a single incorrectly named file ("Endblock") on disks 2 and 3, which results in the endgame screen displaying corrupted graphics (see HERE). Fortunately, this is easily fixed by simply renaming the offending file [i.e. rename "Endblock" to "Endblocks" (plural)] on both disks [Source: mai, via message posted on EAB].
TRIVIA: Publisher Millennium had high hopes for PINKIE at the time of its release in 1994. They had envisioned that the cutesy PINKIE game character would be a marketing tour de force, the likes of which had never been seen before by the gaming and general public. Before the game had even seen significant development, Millennium had agreed to plans for a sequel proposed by developer Data Designs. Additionally, Millennium approached Station 2 Station, a music marketing company responsible for getting novelty single Mr Blobby to the Christmas number 1 spot in the UK charts in 1993, to not only produce the PINKIE music but also prepare an original interpretation of the game music for release as a music single.
