|Notes: || Scheduled for release in 1998. According to German interviews with Michael Garlich of Titan, the game was cancelled because the "final version" submitted by the programmers was considered too buggy for commercial release [Sources: Amiga Future, Apr/May 99 issue; NoCover #53, June 98 issue].|
Reportedly, the developers were unwilling to do any further work to finish the game because radical time-consuming changes to the code were required to meet Titan's demands for release. Personal circumstances of the coders were also a mitigating factor (e.g. study commitments, general fatigue, mandatory military service of the main coder) [Source: Rafał "Fatman" Głębowski (gfx coder), via message posted on EAB].
Min Requirements (proposed): 68020 CPU, 4Mb fastram, Graffiti card (minimum) or AGA/gfx card (recommended).
Prior to being signed up for publication by Titan, the game was going to be released in Poland as BRAIN DEAD. An early version of BRAIN DEAD (pre-commercial demo) is available for download on Aminet HERE (dir: game/demo/BrainDead.lha).
BRAIN KILLER AGA V1.0 (commercial demo) is also available for download on Aminet HERE (dir: game/demo/BrainKiller.lha).
