[1] Game is based on the 17th century European fairytale "Little Red Riding Hood", popularised by Charles Perrault and subsequently the Brothers Grimm.

[2] According to the manual, THE WOLF was the first game ever written using the TALESPIN graphics adventure creation system and whilst it was still in development too. It was only ever released as a sample game with TALESPIN itself.
