[1] Licensed game based on the infamous DC Comics superhero Batman: The Caped Crusader.
[2] Distributed in Germany by Ariolasoft and in Italy by Leader.
TRIVIA:Keith Robinson primarily worked on the Atari ST rather than the Amiga. It was Frank Robinson (no relation) who converted Keith's Atari ST code to the Amiga after he'd finished BATMAN. It didn't take very long as the core game play code was identical, with just the graphical, audio, and I/O routines being replaced.
Keith and Frank devised custom disk formats for both the Atari ST and the Amiga, with Keith working on the Atari code, and Frank working on the Amiga code. Due to the differences between the machines, the formats and code could not be shared. The intent being to pack as much as possible on to the disks, whilst also making them more difficult to copy, and hopefully decreasing the loading times.
Based on 1988 Special FX/Ocean Spectrum release. PC versions: CGA, EGA, Tandy/PCjr
