|Notes||Lucasfilm's game division began in 1982 when Atari approached filmmaker George Lucas to make computer games with subject topics that had never been tackled before. They spent the next 5 years as a development house releasing games (mostly 8-bit) for Atari before signing on with U.S. Gold and moving into the 16-bit games arena. At some stage in the 1990s they became LucasArts.|
