A subsidiary of software distribution company R&R, Alternative was formed by Dave Palmer (founder of Alligata) and Roger Hulley in 1985/86. They began as an 8-bit budget software house that expanded to full-price titles and 16-bit platforms (Amiga/ST/PC) in the late 80s, selling back-catalogue titles for Amiga, CD32 and PC on their website as late as the early 2000s (see HERE). Currently, they still develop/publish games for PC, consoles and mobile/tablet devices. |
