Italian comedian/actor-singer who enjoyed great success in his home country in the 1980s/90s as a TV show host, film actor and singer. Francesco Salvi's biggest hit songs included ''C'è da Spostare Una Macchina'' (Gotta Move My Car) and ''Esatto'' (Correct) [see music videos HERE], the latter of which was performed to critical acclaim at the 1989 Sanremo Music Festival.
Hit song ''Esatto'' (Correct) was so popular that it was digitised in 1990 for use in the game intro of the Italian release of BOMBER BOB for the Amiga. Later that decade in 1997, Francesco Salvi also notably voiced the title character in the animated series of iconic Italian comic book character Lupo Alberto. Since the 1990s, Salvi has predominantly focused his talents on TV acting, which have called upon his comedy and singing abilities when the roles have evinced them.
