Notes | Established in Vancouver, Canada in 1982 by Don Mattrick, an 18 year-old programmer who set out to ''build a strong team of software engineers, graphic artists and musicians''. Don noticed that everybody at the time was trying to replicate coin-ops, but decided instead to write games that utilised the capabilities of the computer. By 1990, DSI had created over 60 games and had over 70 people working for it, producing games on the Amiga, Atari ST, C64, PC, Macintosh, Apple II GS, Nintendo NES and Gameboy consoles. | |||
