Not to be confused with Fairlight's demo division of the same name, Italian shareware developers Virtual Dreams was established by Alberto Longo in 1993. The team consisted of Alberto Longo (main coder, graphics, project co-ordinator), Antonio Beatrice (graphics), Gianluca Abbate (graphics) and Pierpaolo Di Maio (music, graphics).
Their first and only shareware release was a PROJECT-X clone called T-RACER in 1994. Following this release, Longo morphed Virtual Dreams into commercial development team, Fields of Vision who went on to develop a 3D texture mapped DOOM clone, BREATHLESS AGA.
