Established in 1987 by Holger Gehrmann and Uwe Grabosch. reLINE started out as developers on C64, Amiga and Atari ST for various companies including Rainbow Arts, Softgold, Magic Bytes, micro-partner, Robtek, and Golden Games. They proved so successful that Softgold and micro-partner published games on the reLINE label. After 1992 they became more independent and co-published games with Magic Bytes. In more recent years they concentrated on PC development, predominantly the BIING! game series, but look to have closed its doors in 2004 with the disappearance of their website.
