Binary Design Ltd
Year of death
Originally established as 8-bit developer Terminal Software in the early 1980s, Binary Design was formed circa 1987 by Andy Hieke and predominantly forged a reputation as a budget games developer for 8- and 16-bit platforms. Following their demise in Jan 1990 due to Virgin's takeover of Mastertronic and the death of the £1.99 budget game, Hieke wasted no time and formed 16-bit development company Creative Materials in Feb 1990 from the ashes of Binary Design.
Budget label that aimed to release the ''Best of British'' games in the US. The name, Bulldog, came from a small wholesaler, Bulldog Distribution, who suffered financial trouble & was taken over in 1986. Bulldog probably only released one Amiga game, FEUD.
