Established in 1987 by Holger Gehrmann and Uwe Grabosch. reLINE started out as a developer on C64, Amiga and Atari ST for various companies including Softgold, Rainbow Arts, Golden Games, Magic Bytes, micro-partner, and Robtek. They proved so successful that Softgold and micro-partner published games on the reLINE label. In 1991, micro-partner went bankrupt. After 1992 they became more independent and co-published games with Magic Bytes. In more recent years they concentrated on PC development, predominantly the BIING! game series, but look to have closed its doors in 2004 with the disappearance of their website.
