[1] Game design by Emerald Software. Coding by Billy Newport. Graphics by Paul McLaughlin.

[2] Distributed in the UK by Electronic Arts.

TRIVIA: [1] PHANTOM FIGHTER was Emerald Software's first ever commercial game.

[2] Although announced for U.S. release in 1989 by Brøderbund under the title IF IT MOVES, SHOOT IT!, there is no evidence that an NTSC version of the game was ever released other than an Amiga screenshot appearing on the game box of the American PC release (see HERE).

[3] Even more curious, however, is that the PC version of PHANTOM FIGHTER reportedly deviated from the Amiga release by being coded as a pure vertical scroller in the mould of NEMESIS / GRADIUS, whilst the Amiga version was a more advanced hybrid horizontal/vertical scroller à la SALAMANDER / LIFE FORCE.
