- Installation of the demo requires approx. 3.3MB HD space.
- Installation of the final sales release was supposedly going to require at least 15MB HD space.
[1] Sequel to TRAPPED and TRAPPED 2, TRAPPED III was planned for release in late 1998.
[2] Min. Requirements (proposed): 2MB ram, CDROM drive, 15MB HD space.
[3] In contrast to its predecessors, TRAPPED III was going to be a pure FPS devoid of any puzzle and magic elements and set in a space station with a science fiction theme. It would have utilised an advanced version of the TRAPPED 2 engine that featured improved texture mapping, lensflare, mipmapping and some eye-catching light effects. Improved artificial intelligence was also planned [Source: Amiga Nutta, news item, Nov 98].
Unfortunately, game development ceased in Autumn 1997 when coder Michael Piepgras (TTS/Oxyron) secured a job with a German games publisher. Work coupled with study commitments made time scarce and thus he was forced to cancel development [Source: Oxyron website].
In an interview with Amiga Games that Weren't (aGTW), Michael Piepgras (TTS/Oxyron) elaborated further on why game development was ceased:
'The development stopped because of two simple reasons. I was starting to work in bigger PC projects, e.g. Warcommander (strategy PC) and Against Rome (strategy) where I worked as technical lead programmer. And my work at the university took a lot of time until I got my diploma in mathematics in early 2001.' [see full interview HERE]

[5] Reportedly, the game was going to be released as FACE ATTACK in English-speaking countries, which is a loose translation of FRATZENGEBALLER.
[6] A German magazine preview of FRATZENGEBALLER appeared in Amiga Future 13 (June/July 97).
