[2] Advertised as early as 1987, MicroIllusions cancelled the Amiga release during 1990 after more than 2 years of development. Reportedly, the game had already printed promotional posters and had received many pre-orders,
but was sabotaged by the wholesale distributor (Activision). It not only put an end to the game's release, but ultimately forced MicroIllusions to close its doors. According to designer and main coder, Joe Pearce the game's cancellation was probably a blessing in disguise as any royalties from the sale of the game would have probably been swallowed up in the bankruptcy of Activision's parent company, Mediagenic [Sources:
