Scheduled for release in 1998, HARD TARGET - the Amiga's one and only touted VIRTUA COP clone - was cancelled in Sept '98 when developer Imij Software decided to split on the back of the commercially grim reality of an ever-dwindling Amiga market.
Reportedly, the game was only 20% completed when development ceased. In an otherwise dwindling Amiga games market, Vulcan unsurprisingly felt it was easier to scrap the game than find another development team to finish the coding.
