[1] 3 level demo of the game was featured on
Amiga Format 56, Disk B.
[2] The full game cost £5.00 at the time.
[3] Toado was written in assembler using DevPac.
[4] Original graphics created in DPaint - however when the author sent the game to Amiga Format he was told by the editor that the game would benefit from better graphics and he recommended his friend Simon Foster (who later worked on Rollercoaster Tycoon) to create new graphics for the game.
[5] The music for Toado was created in a sequencer.
[6] The author was inspired by an original game for the Memotech MTX called... Toado. (see miscshot 1)
[7] Jim Wills was involved in other games for the MTX System. He designed the levels and created the graphics on "Pothole Pete" and "Son of Pete" where he worked with main Coder Tony Butterfield.
[8] An early version of the game without the graphics made by Simon Foster exists as well (see miscshots 2 & 3).
