Notes: | [1] Coding by Joel Lind and Ken Birkman; coding enhancements by R. D. Kurland; and imported to AmigaBASIC by Jerry Farmer and Frank Taylor.
[2] BASEBALL, a PD game originally written during the 1970s in quite generic BASIC for mainframes and hobbyist 8-bit platforms, was initially released on the Amiga as part of the commercially sold GAMES GALLERY III software compilation. A public domain Amiga version sans any commercial trappings was released some years later via Aminet (see download link below).
[3] Game must be manually launched from WB after booting from floppy (i.e. game does not autoboot). Alternatively, it can be executed directly from within AmigaBASIC.
[4] Game features multitasking (memory permitting) and quit back to WB/AmigaBASIC options.
[5] ***BASEBALL (full PD release)*** is available for download from Aminet HERE (dir: game/misc/OldGames.lha). |
