Notes

[1] Initially released in Italian in late 1992, the multilanguage version (English/French/German) of NIPPON SAFES INC. was released a few months later in 1993. Even though the multilanguage version shows "Italian" as a choice on the game language screen, it cannot be selected and is not included in the release.

[2] Original game contents included a large A3 size game poster and a Dynabyte sticker.

[3] Game features the Parallaction System (i.e. the stories of the 3 main characters follow different paths, but are inextricably linked and require problems to be solved when they occasionally crossover), as well as savegame support.

[4] The French release of NIPPON SAFES INC. is plagued with poorly-made data script files, causing crashes in various parts of the game.
A bugfixed/patched version of NIPPON SAFES INC. (French) was released by Dlfrsilver in August 2017, which allows players to complete the game with any of the 3 main characters [Source: Dlfrsilver, via message posted on EAB].

TRIVIA: Humour is a strong feature of NIPPON SAFES INC. In one part of the game, two guys (presumably the coders) drinking in a seedy club not only offer players tips and comments on how well they are performing in the game, but will moan and bitch about how someone (read: Lucasfilm) stole their idea for a game called "The Mistery of Ape Island" (see HERE). Obviously this is a delicious reference to Ron Gilbert's cult classic point 'n' click adventure THE SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND.
