Notes | Originally established as 8-bit developer Terminal Software in the early 1980s, Binary Design was formed circa 1987 by Andy Hieke and predominantly forged a reputation as a budget games developer for 8- and 16-bit platforms. Following their demise in Jan 1990 due to Virgin's takeover of Mastertronic and the death of the £1.99 budget game, Hieke wasted no time and formed 16-bit development company Creative Materials in Feb 1990 from the ashes of Binary Design. | |||
